Mung Beans Sprouts

Mung Beans Sprouts are used in preparation of various dishes like soup, pizza crust, stir fry, sandwich and salad. Sprouted mung beans are rich in vitamins A, C, B and E, they are packed with the minerals potassium, iron, calcium and magnesium, as well as amino acid. They contain approximately 20% of protein, making it a true powerhouse food. 

You will need:

  • Containers to soak beans

  • Bowl

  • Sieve

  • Towel


  1. Soak mung beans overnight.

  2. Rinse them throughly in the sieve, and keep it over the bowl, cover with towel.

  3. Rinse them twice a day: first in the morning and second time in the evening, then cover with a towel.

  4. After 5 days they are ready to consume. Store them in the fridge.
