When it comes to losing weight and rebalancing your metabolism, the first month sets the foundation for everything that follows.


One of the mian goals during this stage is helping to stabilize blood sugar levels. When blood sugar is constantly rising and falling, it's common to experience cravings, energy crashes, constant hunger, and mood swings.

Step 1: Your Initial Blood Work and Consultation


Everything starts with blood work and a detailed health questionnaire. The blood work gives us valuable information about what’s happening inside your body. Combined with your health history, medications, symptoms, lifestyle, and goals, it helps create a plan that’s tailored specifically to you. During our consultation, we go through everything together.


We talk about:


• Your health history

• Current symptoms and concerns

• Previous diets and programs you’ve tried

• Lifestyle habits

• Goals and expectations


My consultations usually take about 60-90 minutes. I want to understand the whole picture, not just a number on the scale. Many clients tell me this is the first time they’ve felt truly heard when talking about their health.

Step 2: Receiving Your Personalized Metabolic Balance® Plan


Once your blood work has been analyzed, your personalized Metabolic Balance® plan is created. This isn’t a generic meal plan downloaded from the internet or a one size fits all approach. Your plan is based on your blood work, health history, lifestyle, and goals. The foods included are selected specifically for your body’s needs.

Not everyone experiences the same changes at the same pace, and that’s completely normal. The first two weeks are about giving your body time to adjust and creating habits that will support long-term success. Small changes often lead to bigger results as the weeks go on.

Step 4: Weeks Three and Four - When Things Really Start to Shift


By weeks three and four, most clients start feeling more settled into their new routine and become more confident with their food choices. They often have a better understanding of how different foods affect their energy, hunger, digestion, and overall well-being.


This is often when people start noticing more consistent changes. Sleep may improve, weight may begin to shift, digestion often feels better, bloating becomes less frequent, and energy levels tend to feel more stable throughout the day.


At this stage, our coaching sessions become more individualized. We review how your body is responding to the plan, discuss any challenges that come up, and make adjustments if needed.


We may also focus on:


• Your personal health and weight-loss goals

• Identifying habits or patterns that need extra support

• Building confidence around food choices

• Improving your relationship with food

• Creating strategies that fit your lifestyle
